Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the destination-longbeach.com website and your booking request, reservation, or stay at Destination Long Beach, operated by Destination Long Beach LLC ("we," "us," or "our").
By using our website, submitting a booking request, completing payment, or staying at the property, you agree to these Terms and to the policies linked below, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Reservations & Approval
- All reservations are subject to availability, review, and approval.
- Submitting a booking request does not guarantee that the reservation is approved.
- A reservation is not confirmed until it has been approved and all required payment steps have been completed.
- We may decline a booking request if dates are unavailable, guest information is incomplete, the request does not meet the House Rules, payment cannot be completed, or the reservation presents a safety, compliance, or operational concern.
- Rates, fees, taxes, and payment terms are displayed during the booking flow. Your approved reservation rate is locked once the reservation is confirmed.
Payment Terms
- Guests are responsible for providing accurate payment and contact information.
- Payment timing, required deposits, total charges, taxes, cleaning fees, pet fees, service fees, and other applicable charges are shown during the booking flow or in payment instructions provided after approval.
- If payment is not completed by the stated deadline, we may release or cancel the reservation.
- If a payment is declined, reversed, disputed, or cannot be collected, we may cancel the reservation, deny access, or pursue amounts owed as allowed by law.
Guest Responsibility
- The booking guest is responsible for the conduct of all guests, visitors, children, and pets associated with the stay.
- Guests are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear, missing items, excessive cleaning, unpaid fees, unauthorized guests, unauthorized pets, or costs caused by misuse of the property.
- Guests must promptly report damage, maintenance issues, safety concerns, or accidental breakage so we can address the issue.
- We may charge the payment method on file or request reimbursement for damages, excessive cleaning, missing items, unpaid fees, or costs resulting from a violation of these Terms or the House Rules.
House Rules
Guests must comply with the House Rules, which cover stay-specific requirements such as check-in and check-out, occupancy, pets, quiet hours, prohibited activities, trash, safety, property care, and neighborhood etiquette.
A House Rules violation may result in charges, cancellation, removal from the property, or refusal of future bookings as allowed under these Terms and the Cancellation Policy.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations, refunds, no-shows, host-initiated cancellations, and reservation modifications are governed by the Cancellation Policy.
Safety, Access & Liability
- Guests are responsible for their own safety and for supervising children, pets, and visitors.
- Coastal weather, sand, stairs, balcony areas, outdoor surfaces, wildlife, insects, power outages, and other natural or local conditions may create hazards. Guests agree to use reasonable care.
- We make reasonable efforts to keep amenities available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of utilities, Wi-Fi, appliances, or other amenities.
- We may access the property during a stay when reasonably necessary for emergency, safety, maintenance, legal, or operational reasons. When practical, we will provide notice before entry.
- Destination Long Beach LLC is not liable for personal injury, loss of personal property, travel disruption, weather conditions, utility interruption, internet interruption, third-party service failure, or events beyond our reasonable control, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for cancellations, interruptions, delays, or losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government orders, utility failures, power outages, public health emergencies, road closures, or other circumstances that make hosting unsafe or impractical.
