Destination Long Beach

Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy applies to booking requests, reservations, no-shows, refunds, and reservation changes for Destination Long Beach.

For the broader booking agreement, see the Terms of Service. For stay behavior and property rules, see the House Rules.

Summary

Full-Refund Window

Guests may cancel for a full refund during the first 48 hours after booking, unless the scheduled check-in is within the next 3 days.

The 48-hour window means the first 48 hours after the booking is made. It does not mean 48 hours before arrival.

Because Destination Long Beach requires advance preparation for each stay, reservations scheduled to begin within 3 days are non-refundable once booked.

Non-Refundable Reservations

A reservation is non-refundable when:

No-Shows

A no-show occurs when the guest does not arrive for the reservation and does not cancel under the applicable policy. No-shows are non-refundable.

Host-Initiated Cancellations

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel or decline a reservation because of emergency maintenance, safety concerns, unavailable dates, property damage, severe weather impacts, legal restrictions, or other circumstances that make hosting impractical or unsafe.

If we cancel a confirmed reservation before check-in for reasons not caused by the guest, we will refund amounts paid for the affected stay.

Reservation Changes

Date changes, extensions, early departures, shortened stays, and guest-count changes are subject to approval and availability. A requested change is not confirmed unless approved in writing.

Approved changes may affect pricing, taxes, fees, and cancellation eligibility.

Refund Processing

When a refund is owed under this policy, it will be processed to the original payment method when possible. Refund timing may depend on the payment processor, card network, and issuing bank.

Service fees, payment processing fees, taxes, or third-party charges may be handled according to the payment provider's rules and applicable law.
